Job Description:

and innovation in healthcare. We are looking for a compassionate
and skilled Registered Nurse to serve in our Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit (NICU) at our Denver locations. As a float pool nurse,
you will have the opportunity to work across multiple UCHealth
facilities, offering high levels of care and support to newborns
and their families during critical periods. This night shift role
requires adaptability and proficiency in neonatal care, as you will
be instrumental in providing vital services in various high-level
care settings. Provide specialized nursing care in the NICU and
participate in the float pool across designated Denver facilities.
Monitor vital signs and developmental progress in newborns,
adjusting care plans as necessary. Educate and support families,
providing updates and guidance on neonatal health issues.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and improve
patient care. Maintain accurate health records and report specific
conditions to healthcare providers. Administer medications and
interventions safely according to prescribed protocols. Strong
clinical skills in neonatal care Ability to adapt to changing
environments and work under pressure Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Proficiency in using medical software and
electronic health records Capability to work independently with
minimal supervision Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
