At UCHealth, a renowned leader in cardiac care, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer and Quality Educator to join our team. This role is crucial in providing specialized imaging and patient care, combined with enhancing the educational standards within our cardiac sonography team. The appointed candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver top-tier diagnostic imaging services, ensure compliance with current best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This includes routine and complex echocardiograms while also developing training modules for ongoing staff education. Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures, including echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound studies. Evaluate the images for quality and ensure appropriate measures are taken to obtain diagnostic-quality data. Collaborate with cardiologists and other medical professionals to analyze sonographic findings. Develop, coordinate, and conduct training sessions and continuing education for sonography staff. Maintain records and documentation according to facility standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee and ensure the calibration and maintenance of sonography equipment. Implement and monitor compliance with current healthcare practices, standards, and regulations in cardiac sonography. Expertise in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound techniques. Strong instructional and mentoring skills. Ability to analyze and interpret sonographic data. Proficient in the use of sonographic equipment and technologies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent. BLS/CPR certification.
