UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist Traveler for our Birth Center. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work across various UCHealth facilities, contributing to our mission of providing exceptional, patient-centered care. This role is crucial in ensuring that all surgical procedures in the Birth Center are carried out safely, effectively, and compassionately, maintaining our high standards of care. Prepare and organize the operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies necessary for scheduled surgeries. Assist surgical teams through the positioning of patients, accounting for comfort and safety during procedures. Maintain sterile environments and adhere to UCHealth's standards in preventing contamination. Ensure all instruments and supplies are accounted for and properly sterilized before and after procedures. Support patient care from pre-operative to post-operative stages, providing compassionate assistance. Travel to different UCHealth facilities as required, adapting to various teams and environments. Proficient in maintaining sterile environments Adept at handling and preparing surgical instruments and supplies Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure scenarios Capable of frequent travel and flexible with various hospital settings Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
