St Julien Hotel & Spa is looking for an organized, reliable, and
talented Cook whose primary responsibility is to plan and execute a
healthy meal rotation in our VIP Lounge (Employee Cafeteria).
Duties of this position range from ordering supplies to properly
storing, cooking and serving meals. In this role, you will play a
pivotal role in the overall success of all departments by helping
to fuel your fellow Four Star/Four Diamond service professionals to
provide the excellent service our guests know and expect!
Essential Job Functions:
-Set up VIP each day with plates, silverware, napkins, condiments,
coffee, salt & pepper, etc.
-Collaborate with Chefs to plan a wide variety of healthy, fresh
meals for associates
-Prepare and set-up salad bar items
-Prepares a main entr--e, 2 soups, and 2 side dishes for associates
-Serve fellow associates in a friendly, cheerful, and respectful
-Ensure proper storage of all foods including coverage, labeling,
dating, and using the proper containers; maintain the appropriate
temperature of all foods.
-Ensure that all food served in VIP is fresh and appealing to the
-Adhere to St Julien's environmental commitment and Zero Waste
-Other duties as requested by manager
