Non-ExemptSalary: $45,000 - $60,000General Summary: The Payroll
Specialist will work closely with Accounting and Human Resources to
perform all duties related to payroll and benefit accounting.
Participates and works with others in developing good working
relationships and processes throughout the Company.Essential Job
Responsibilities:1. Process all payrolls, including bonuses,
absences, terminations, and other specialized staff transactions
for BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Boulder Surgery Center on a
bi-weekly basis.2. Perform administration of benefits associated
with payroll such as life and health insurance, dental insurance,
401(k) retirement plans, PTO balances.3. Generates and submits
payroll and benefits reports to all necessary recipients.4. Perform
monthly reconciliation of all benefit balances to outside vendor
invoices.5. Effectively manage out of state employees' wage
withholding accounts and other state specific requirements.6.
Maintain and update employees' payroll files.7. HRA processing and
reconciliation8. Complete Worker's Compensation Payroll Audit9.
Prepare year end 401(k) workpapers and census for outside
administrator10. Assist with 401(k) Plan audit as necessary11. Back
up as needed for Boulder Centre Implants (BCI) Coordinator12.
Develops and maintains appropriate internal controls in the
processing of payroll and benefits.13. Attends administrative
meetings and participates in committees as requested. 14. Conducts
special projects and studies as directed.15. Participates in
professional development activities and maintains professional
affiliations.16. Maintains confidentiality as regards employee
payroll records.17. Other duties as assigned.Education:Associates
or bachelor's degree in accounting or 5 years plus payroll
accounting experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

- Knowledge of accounting principlesSkills:1. Strong QuickBooks,
Microsoft Excel and Word skills2. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills with the ability to define root causes of
concern as they arise.3. Skilled in identifying and resolving
payroll system problems.4. Exceptional attention to detail and
accuracy5. Strong ethical and moral character 6. Good written and
oral communication skillsAbilities:1. Ability to shift priorities;
