Overview:
FTI is looking for an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team who are excited as we are to build a culture that embodies us today. Qualfied candidates must be willing to relocate to Colorado Springs, CO. -

Responsibilities:
The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) will work on Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) program providing expertise and support in network security engineering and/or integration of security products. This is a fast-paced and highly challenging position where you will be a member of a team. The ISSE is responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for the assigned IT. This includes the following activities related to maintaining situational awareness and initiating actions to improve or restore cybersecurity posture. The ISSE:Implements and enforce all AF cybersecurity policies, procedures, and countermeasuresCompletes and maintains required cybersecurity certification IAW AFMAN 17-1303 Individuals in this position must be U.S. citizensEnsures all users have the requisite security clearances and need-to-know, complete annual cybersecurity training, and are aware of their responsibilities before being granted access to the IT according to AFMAN 17-1301Maintains all authorized user access control documentation IAW the applicable AF Records Information Management SystemEnsures software, hardware, and firmware complies with appropriate security configuration guidelines (e.g., security technical implementation guides /security requirement guides)Ensures proper configuration management procedures are followed prior to implementation and contingent upon necessary approvalCoordinate changes or modifications with the system-level ISSM, SCA, and/or the Wing Cybersecurity officeInitiates protective or corrective measures, in coordination with the ISSM, when a security incident or vulnerability is discoveredReports security incidents or vulnerabilities to the system-level ISSM and wing cybersecurity office according to AFI 17-203, Cyber Incident HandlingInitiates exceptions, deviations, or waivers to cybersecurity requirementsLocal area travel: 30%

Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field is desired. - Masters degree preferredCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, RequiredTop Secret clearance required; SCI highly desiredMinimum of 15 years planning, designing, developing, integrating, testing and/or deploying secure information technologyExperience working with DoD and/or Intelligence Community (IC) space system acquisition programsUnderstanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD / IC cybersecurity requirements, policies and best practicesExperience with IT Security including requirements, architecture and design -FTI is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
