Primary Responsibilities:
Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software within the
NextGen OPIR Ground Solution. Applies the appropriate standards,
processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life
cycle. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions,
compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system
capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output
requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and
controls. Ensures software standards are met.
Software engineer will work with the DevSecOps/CI/CD pipeline, C++,
Qt framework (GUI), pub/sub messaging, PostgreSQL, Linux
environments, Ansible Scripting, GIT/Jenkins (preferable), Java,
Agile Methodologies and the full software development cycle.
Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience with Kubernetes,
distributed systems, machine learning and multi-threaded
applications. An active Secret security clearance with ability to
obtain TS/SCI clearance required. Active TS/SCI clearance
preferred. Supports Product Development Team.
