goals. What You Will Do: You will be supporting a Raytheon program
in a classified environment as a Sr. Principal Linux System
Administrator. Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and
securing Information Technology systems and directly supporting
customer mission-critical capabilities. You will work closely with
program developers and system engineers to research issues,
determine root causes and implement solutions to system problems.
Must be able to support occasional after-hour maintenance and
on-call support Must be able to lift to 35 pounds in support of
hardware installations. Occasional travel may be required for
installation support. This position is an onsite role.
Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a bachelor’s
degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a
master’s degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant
experience. Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI
with poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S.
citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a
security clearance. An active cyber security certification,
qualified for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 on start date. IAT Level 2
requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications:
Security CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA, CND.
Experience Red Hat Enterprise Linux based systems Experience with
DT support, to include patching, creating/maintaining RPM packages,
performance tuning, networking, LDAP user management, and security
hardening Qualifications We Prefer: Deployment and administration
of systems, storage, and networking in virtualized environments
using VMware vCenter Using and developing automation
tools/frameworks such as Terraform and Ansible, as well as
scripting, primarily shell and Python Experience administering
Windows based systems Experience with pipeline tools such as
Jenkins and Artifactory Demonstrated ability to work independently

Now! The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative
of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when
extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role,
function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work
experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as

these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a
