Job Description:

GoTrekker, a pioneer in tech-driven travel and exploration solutions, is currently seeking experienced CDL-A Lease Drivers to become a vital part of our dynamic transportation team. This role is critical in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods, helping GoTrekker enhance the travel experiences of our clients by ensuring all logistical needs are seamlessly met. As a lease driver, you will operate modern and well-maintained vehicles, reflecting the high-tech, forward-thinking ethos of GoTrekker. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to and from specified destinations. Maintain communication with dispatch and report any issues regarding delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, and perform preventive maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Review shipping documents to ensure accurate freight handling. Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods. Proficiency in GPS and route management software. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Adaptability to handle sudden changes in weather or traffic conditions. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). No serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years. No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years.
