Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Regional Class A Driver to
join our transportation team, driving safety and efficiency in our
efforts to manage, transport, and dispose of hazardous waste across
North America. This position plays a vital role in our mission to
provide environmental, energy, and industrial services, ensuring
both compliance with environmental laws and protection of our
planet. As a Regional Class A Driver, you will be responsible for
operating heavy-duty trucks and managing hazardous waste transport
with adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations as well
as company policies. Safely operate heavy-duty Class A trucks over
regional routes, handling transportation and delivery of hazardous
materials. Ensure compliance with all environmental laws and
regulations for hazardous waste hauling. Perform pre-trip and
post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain documentation for
compliance and safety. Manage loading and unloading of hazardous
and non-hazardous waste materials at designated facilities.
Maintain logs, reports, and accurate records of work performed
according to state, federal, and company directives. Follow
assigned routes and time schedules. Communicate effectively with
dispatch and operations staff to improve route planning and
efficiency. Proficient in operating Class A commercial vehicles.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous waste protocols. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and
maintain logs and records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must possess a valid Class A
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazardous materials
endorsement. DOT medical certification. Clean driving record.
