Job Description:

We have ambitious sales goals this year and need an ambitious person to join our sales and business development team to help us hit these goals.

We are looking for someone who already understands the custom software development world or is willing to jump in with both feet and learn what we do and why we are amazing at doing it. We have been using innovative new ways to make contact with decision makers and move leads along the sales funnel. We’ve had a great growth rate the last 2 years, but we are taking it to a new level this year.

This role can be based in any major metropolitan area in the US.

We strive to make each client love us by providing a skilled team, engaging design, solid architecture, and a quality implementation. We tackle big challenges with enthusiasm and gusto.

Role Responsibilities:

Build a plan, create goals, and hit those goal

Build a pipeline of opportunities and know how to move these opportunities along the sales pipeline

Be innovative in your approach to make contact with decision makers and create new opportunities

Communicate clearly and effectively with contacts and always follow up

Collaborate with the team on current and new methods that will drive higher conversion rate

Report on the status of goals on a weekly basis

Provide feedback on how to improve the company and the sales process

Lead the proposal building process making sure the problem and solution are clearly articulated

Present proposals to potential customers along with the sales engineer and resolve any concerns that might arise

Keep status of contacts and opportunities update in the CRM and make sure follow up tasks are always created

Close deals

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in sales with at least 3 years selling technical software or technical services

Ability to generate leads

Proven account management or other relevant experience

Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment

Ability to prioritize among competing tasks

Excellent time and project management skills

Critical thinking and problem solving skills

Understanding of technology

Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Apps

Must be willing to travel at least 20-25% of the year

Compensation for this role depends on experience. We estimate this person would make ~$180K-$300K, but there is no cap on what you can earn if you are highly motivated and surpass your goals.
