Job Summary & Scope
This role will focus on maintaining a high-performing team and
maximizing revenue. This is an opportunity to join the Revenue team
at a critical inflection point of a transformation of our team and
the industry. This Director will report to the Senior Director of
Revenue Strategy and Distribution based remotely until returning to
the company’s Broomfield, Colorado headquarters. This team drives
comprehensive pricing models, budgeting, forecasting, inventory
strategies, and various analytic reporting to drive business
insight to support the Company’s strategic goals. This position is
responsible for clearly communicating the Lodging and
Transportation portfolio narrative both internally to our Executive
Committee and to external stakeholders including Ownership groups
The portfolio is across 13 resort locations including owned and
operated hotels, vacation rentals, both managed and branded
properties, national park inventory and transportation. The
Director will provide leadership in the areas of pricing,
distribution, revenue optimization, sales/marketing, reservations,
analysis, evaluation and resources necessary to develop and achieve
each hotel's total top line and profit budget. Additionally, the
Director is to be an early warning resource so that properties and
management teams can address potential revenue shortfalls well in
advance to reporting relationships above and work closely with all
resources to mitigate revenue shortfalls. Establish revenue goals
to consistently achieve or exceed revenue budgets in Rooms and
Transportation. The teams will implement yield management
techniques to maximize revenues by communicating with the Vice
President’s, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other Property leaders
selecting the most profitable mix of demand for the given

Integrate effectively with the hospitality organization,

Operational hotel and corporate pricing strategies through
definition and management of rate levels, stay restrictions and
other tactics, which are congruent with demand factors and which
are managed through all distribution channels.
Works with fellow Director of Sales, Marketing, Operations and
Finance to maximize collaboration and gain alignment between the

Assist the Development team in performing due diligence on
potential management contracts and support our transition teams
during new hotel openings, branding changes or post

and ancillary revenues including but not limited to property

implementation of strategic initiatives for our portfolio
Outstanding academic credentials; Bachelor’s degree
8+ years’ experience in leading cross-functional teams with
revenue strategy and analysis responsibilities.
Expertise in Regional / Multi-Property environments including
but not limited to Hotel/Condo/Resort/Brand
Outstanding analytical skills with ability to synthesize
information, develop insights and communicate effectively in
presentations and in person meetings.
History with centralized corporate functions
Deep curiosity and passion for being out front of trends and
re-imaging processes to excel in hitting top line revenue goals in
the context of creating shareholder value.
Excellent communication skills with significant experience
working with senior executives both internal and external
Superb attention to detail balanced by ability to focus on the
Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and
collaboratively move strategy to action.
Comfortable in discussion forums; able to represent ideas
succinctly and convincingly.
Experience or adaptable training in use of various Property
Management Systems and Revenue Management Systems (IDeaS G3,
IQWare, Visual One, Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott preferred) both in
hotel and resort environments.
