Database Support EngineerThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our client, a multinational IT company specialized in consumer products (hardware & software) and services.--Location: Boulder, CODuration: 12 months contract with possibility of renewalCandidate must be eligible for direct W2 employment without sponsorship.Job Descriptions:The Database Support Engineer will be responsible for working with our existing database to port from existing hardware to a newer server environment.-- You will also be responsible for modifying various aspects of our data pipeline updating data extraction routines and standard reporting. Responsibilities will require working with other team members to integrate with existing data management structure to achieve improved summary reporting.-- The role will also work to include interfacing with cross-functional teams responsible for designing and producing exciting new displays and assembly technologies.Job Responsibilities

• Port existing database infrastructure from Windows 10 server environment to 2019 Windows server environment
• Find appropriate backup solution to present database and supporting data pipeline routine.
• Modify existing or create new data extraction routines that provide data or data summaries to technical users.
• Provide maintenance support for unplanned system influences such as power outages, security updates, software updates, etc.
• Provide guidance for improved maintenance of the data-pool and database hardware.
• Potential interface with future planning of database and data pipelineJob Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in database development and data pipeline development
  • Experience with porting database architecture between hardware environments
