Job Description Strength in Motion Wellness Center (SIM) is a premier outpatient mental health clinic dedicated to improving our client's lives and helping them reach their greatest potential in Boulder, CO. SIM was founded in 2014 as a solo private practice with the intention of incorporating movement with psychotherapy due to the significant connection and healing potential between the two. SIM believes that yoga, dance movement therapy, acupuncture, and other complementary services can all contribute to ones healing journey. In 2018, the Strength in Motion Wellness Center was born and now offers a variety of healing modalities to those that we serve. Our clinical team specializes in working with tweens, teens, young adults, adults, and parents struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, parenting, family and life transitions. SIM offers individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, groups, workshops, classes, and trainings. We are currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, Ph.D., or PsyD) to join our outstanding team in Boulder, CO . We have part-time and full-time schedules available. In this role, you will work directly with clients to actively listen to problems and concerns and suggest healthy and productive ways of coping with those issues. This role requires someone who enjoys working closely with peoplenot just with clients, but also other members of the SIM team, and occasionally outside agencies and community organizations. Aside from holding your own client caseload, being a member of the SIM Clinical Team also includes participation and/or facilitation in monthly SIM events such as clinical team consult, team meetings, therapeutic groups, may involve intern training and support, in-services and trainings, community outreach, and social/community gatherings. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Hold a caseload of a minimum of ten (10) weekly client sessions for part-time status- individual, couples, and/or family. Full time also available. Conduct regular appointments with clients who wish to converse with a mental health professional Implement various treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address client situations Educate and involve family members and/or other loved ones in the treatment process when necessary Record and maintain adequate documentation including initial intake paperwork and ongoing process notes. Participate in SIM monthly clinical consultation group, meetings and networking opportunities Participate in additional SIM workshops and events Respect, care, and appreciation for SIM environment and space QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed clinician in Colorado Registered with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Meet all necessary state licensure requirements 2+ years of clinical experience, ideally working directly with clients Working with an outside consultant for individual supervision/ consultation Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen Willingness and interest in staying updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field Background and/or experience with mindfulness and body-based practice SIM is a proud member of the Refresh Mental Health Network; one of the largest and fastest-growing private behavioral health companies in the US with over 2000 clinicians and 185 locations in 30 states.
