Overview
The St Julien Hotel is looking for an exceptional Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office operations and the talented associates who are dedicated to making our guests feel like all of their needs and wishes are fulfilled! We pride ourselves on personally connecting with our guests from the moment they arrive and throughout all aspects of their stay. Our next Front Office Manager must be an individual who can inspire those around them to deliver our unique brand of service, blending the authenticity of Boulder with the professionalism and class of the big city.

Essential Job Functions:


  • -Create a positive first impression for guests by working front desk during peak times and as needed

  • -Assist the Director of Guest Services with the iPrefer program and keeping guest preferences up to date

  • -Assist the Director of Guest Services with the VIP program to increase guest loyalty and retention

  • -Evaluate guest surveys and comment cards and craft thoughtful responses to reaffirm the hotel's value proposition and brand

  • -Monitor and assess team performance by conducting Forbes training to ensure consistency of delivery

  • -Communicate performance expectations and provide associates with on-going and honest feedback

  • -Treat associates with respect and dignity in regard to scheduling, diversity, appreciation and recognition, suggestions for improvement, and other pertinent job issues

  • -Perform and oversee counseling and disciplinary action of the Front Office associates when warranted

  • -Continually search for ways to improve procedures, training, interviewing, and other hotel services

  • -Conduct performance appraisals and present to associates in a timely, respectful and professional manner

  • -Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure that issues are addressed and resolved quickly without interrupting the guests' experience

  • -Crosstrain in all guest service areas in order to effectively assist any Front Office associate and other departments as needed

  • -Operate as hotel manager on duty as needed and perform all associated duties including, but not limited to, managing guest inquiries and requests, and any potential guest complaints

  • -Follow St Julien's Environmental Commitment and disposes of waste and recycling according to standards

  • -Other duties as requested by Director of Guest Services
