* Experience managing a portfolio of initiatives across team/organizational lines with multiple stakeholders and decision makers * Ability to think outside of prevailing views and comfort zones by challenging orthodoxies, and experience with dealing with ambiguity * Ability to inspire across all levels of the organization, and track record of influencing leaders. * Ability to make decisions when presented with challenges and obtain participation from teammates and leaders needed to deliver * Excellent communication and influencing skills at the executive level * Business acumen, problem solving, systems and critical thinking, and judgement skills

As a manager, you support team members to exercise independent thinking and make rapid progress towards goals. Working closely with your team to deliver results, you remove roadblocks and ensure that projects and tasks are appropriately resourced.

As the Future of Work Lead on our People Operations team (known elsewhere as Human Resources), you will lead our Google-wide effort on how the future of work is changing. In this role you will be strategic, impactful, and cross-functional.

You have strategy development, program design, and change management experience, and are comfortable thinking creatively and prototyping new ideas in a rapidly changing environment. You will be the strategic thinker both inside and out of the People Operations team, working cross-functionally with other teams, and think through how our Google-wide philosophy will translate into our various functions.

Additional Information

(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

* Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.


* Enable People Operations and leaders to activate Future of Work and flexibility strategies (e.g., hybrid flexible work week model, remote work, norms, location). * Establish a portfolio view of all the Future of Work initiatives across Google; create and maintain the overall integrated roadmap and sequencing across the portfolio. * Ensure day-to-day management of individual projects is integrated into existing bodies of work and teams. * Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Real Estate Workplace Services, Corp Eng, etc.) to embed Future of Work policy strategies across tools and spaces. Ensure advanced planning appropriate to Googler roll-out approach in partnership with colleagues. * Stay on top of the latest trends and thinking of Future of Work and how Google can continue to evolve our ways of working.
