Overview
We are searching for a service-focused leader to manage our Spa Front Desk staff and support the Spa Director. Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who can apply their leadership skills and service expertise to inspire our associates, who also exemplifies how to go above and beyond in the guest experience. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with best-in-class leaders of the Spa industry and associates who are passionate about delivering outstanding service!

Essential Job Functions:


  • -Greet every guest and Associate with eye contact and a sincere, friendly smile

  • -Knowledgeable of all Spa Front Desk positions (Concierge and Reception) in order to facilitate cohesive and thorough training of all new hires

  • -Review daily appointments, prioritizing guest service and a fair distribution of appointments among service providers; notify all therapists without appointments of on-call status

  • -Oversee Concierge and Reception staff; responsible for creating weekly staff schedules and annual reviews

  • -Handle all cash and credit transactions to ensure proper payment is received for each treatment

  • -Accurately book Spa treatments, including confirming all information with guests and reminding them of cancellation policy prior to closing the interaction

  • -Possess excellent working knowledge of all Spa treatments and can accurately answer guest inquiries regarding treatments

  • -Interface with all Spa staff regarding operations pertinent to the Front Desk; communicate issues and concerns to appropriate parties and assist with resolution

  • -Attend meetings with Spa Director as required. Conduct staff meetings with Front Desk staff as needed.

  • -Organize and oversee Spa Membership program

  • -Ensure that reception, lobby, and other public Spa spaces meet guests' expectations of cleanliness and organization

  • -Assist in Gift Shop as necessary when no other Gift Shop associate is available

  • -Carefully adhere to all Spa opening and closing procedures, ensuring the safety and security of the operation, guests, visitors, and staff

  • -Possess knowledge of activities and events throughout the hotel to accurately answer guest inquiries

  • -Assists with filling-in as needed for Concierge, Reception, and/or Gift Shop

  • -Understand the importance of, and adhere to, Four Star/Four Diamond/Preferred Service Standards

  • -Other duties as requested by manager
