If you are a Quality Inspection professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Boulder, CO location, you will inspect dimensional/visual characteristics to established procedures, and provide training, knowledge and guid-ance in the use and interpretation of inspection criteria. This position may be in Receiving, In-process or Final In-spection. AS A QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR II, YOU WILL: Inspect dimensional/visual characteristics of material, parts and assemblies to support customer driven Q-Codes on product models (work in-line with Production Cells) Record inspection results for company and customer reviews; compile data on PC. Electronic and paper files will be created Work with detailed instructions, specifications, and codes (ANSI, ASME and others) Communicates effectively, interface with production for problem resolution Clerical duties as required Weld Inspection Manage electronic data Scanning of MTRs and QA documentation packets into an electronic data base WHO YOU ARE: You display a can-do attitude in good and bad times. Qualifications : REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: High School Diploma or equivalent required Certification for Level II NDE (Liquid Dye Penetration Testing) or Calibration experience Two years of mechanical inspection experience or equivalent combination of experience and education PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Ability to read engineering controlled prints Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. (some heavy lifting required) CMM capability Ability to problem solve Good organizational skills Basic PC skills and computer experience Basic knowledge of hand tools (calipers, thread gages, ring gages, etc.) Good written and verbal communication skills Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $36,615 - $54,615, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to this role.
