The successful candidate will manage and contribute to consulting projects of all sizes, including the largest, and lead a team of subject-matter expert consultants in implementing these projects effectively. They'll contribute program management domain expertise across all practice areas-strategy, planning, and implementation. They'll have a leadership role in the development of their respective practice area and will take an active role in thought leadership and knowledge-management activities.This person will also contribute to direct and indirect sales activities, collaborate on proposal development, and identify opportunities with new and existing clients. They'll actively build productive networks with our clients' staff, subconsultants, and vendors.How you'll contribute to our missionManage and direct multiple projects of high value to our clients, delivering on time and within budgetDevelop and produce superior work products and project deliverables with a strong emphasis on quality assuranceAssume a leadership role in developing, mentoring, and training project team members; actively support and guide the project team and inspire comraderyCreate new knowledge capital, provide thought leadership, and actively define and develop new tools, techniques, methods, or skills to drive client successFacilitate open and proactive communication with and between the project team and our clientsDevelop and foster the client relationship with the goal of being recognized as a trusted partner and adviserIdentify opportunities and generate business with new and exiting clientsProvide substantive assistance-and sometimes lead-the sales cycleBe a high achiever with a positive attitude, act with openness and integrity, and freely contribute to team and client successWhat will make you a good fitA bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related field; a master's degree with specialized industry training such as PMI certification is a plusFifteen or more years of program and project management experience applied to complex technology planning and implementation projectsDemonstrated program management expertise within the utility sectorThe budgeted salary range for this position is $123,000 to $160,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.BenefitsWe offer excellent insurance packages, including medical, dental, and vision plans; company-paid life insurance; company-paid long- and short-term disability insurance; and medical and dependent-care flexible spending plans. We offer flexible schedules and generous paid time off as soon as you start, including three weeks of vacation, eight paid holidays, two floating holidays, and seven sick days a year.
