Primary Responsibilities:

  • Development of analytical methods for the analysis of materials ranging from process aids to finished Oligonucleotide drug substance.
  • Works closely with Process Development in support of new manufacturing processes.
  • Support of Quality Control by troubleshooting methods and procedures.
  • Validation of analytical methods per current internal SOPs and international regulations.
  • Analytical method and instrument troubleshooting.
  • Works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

    The salary range for this position in Boulder, CO is currently $67,680 - $105,750.

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA in Chemistry or equivalent.
    • 4+ years of relevant experience is required; 3+ years of experience in analytical method development or analytical method validation with an emphasis in HPLC.
    • Experience working in a GMP regulated environment is also required.
    • Experience with Oligonucleotide and nucleic acid chemistry is highly desired.
    • Proficiency in the operation of HPLC and general laboratory instrumentation is expected.
    • We are seeking a keen problem solver with a proactive approach.
    • Must be comfortable working independently and as part of the development team.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
