Benefits CoordinatorOur client in the healthcare industry is looking to add a benefits coordinator to their growing team Growing company and team! Awesome benefits and perks Ability to make a difference through employee relations DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements, administers, and communicates all benefit programs such as 401(k)/pension, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, voluntary programs, wellness, education reimbursement, EcoPass etc.
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal and State laws governing benefits (i.e. ACA COBRA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, HIPPA, 401k, etc.). Monitor changes in regulations to remain compliant with all benefits programs.
  • Reconciles monthly billings for all employee benefit plans
    • Provides information of the eligible benefit offerings to eligible new employees.
    • Processes benefit applications, new hires, changes and transfers.
    • Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, COBRA, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
    • Maintains vendor relationships and conduct regular audits in vendor systems to ensure compliance with plan structure and electronic file feed with HRIS system
      • Collaborates with benefits broker and coordinates all open enrollment activities including communication materials and enrollment activities.
      • Ensures all benefit plan documents, summary plan descriptions, booklets and information brochures are accurate and current for dissemination.
      • Serves as a liaison between third party benefit providers and employees
      • Ensures the enrollment and de-enrollment of employees in eligible benefits in accordance with company policy and federal law.
      • Manages all worker's compensation claims and responsibilities including OSHA reporting. Keeps managers informed of employees return to work status and conducts investigation and analysis of all reported incidents.
      • Coordinates all FMLA functions and return to work documentation.
      • Serves as a member of the Safety Committee and provides reports and data to committee chair.
      • Manages all unemployment claims and reports.
      • Conducts compensation studies, analyzes data and makes recommendations for changes and adjustments. Collaborates with HR Systems Specialist to update data in HRIS.
      • Maintains and updates HR data base in areas of responsibility.
      • Assists in planning and implementation of employee recognition and celebration activities.
      • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to staff and management. QUALIFICATIONS
        • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or the equivalent experience and training.
        • PHR certification preferred.
        • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a human resource generalist, preferably in a health care environment.
        • 1 year of direct benefits experience required and any compensation experience is a bonus.
        • Salary $55k-$80k depending on experience
