Job Description:
Overview
St Julien Hotel & Spa is looking for a service-oriented and
dependable Front Desk Supervisor who will assist in overseeing the
day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, PBX, and Concierge, in
accordance with Hotel policies and Forbes/Preferred Service
Standards.
Essential Job Functions:
-Remain knowledgeable of all Front Desk and PBX duties in order to
facilitate cohesive and thorough training, and to be able to answer
all guest inquiries satisfactorily.
-Effectively train staff so that they are able and empowered to
consistently provide service which meets the Hotel's luxury service
standards.
-Work closely with Front Office Managers and Guest Service
Representatives at the Front Desk.
-Supervise Front Office staff and hold associates accountable to
all policies and procedures of the Hotel.
-Assist in coaching and counseling of Front Office associates when
appropriate and within boundaries of authority.
-Assist the Front Office Management team with the iPrefer program
and maintenance of guest preferences/profiles.
-Help facilitate meetings for Front Office associates on a regular
basis; collaborate with Management on the content and execution of
meetings.
-Handle guest complaints with courtesy and expediency to the
standards of St Julien Hotel & Spa; elevate larger issues to the
attention of Front Office Management.
-Assist the Concierge desk during peak times or as needed.
-Ensure that the Front Desk is always clean, organized, and
prepared to make an excellent first impression to guests.
-Continually search for ways to improve procedures, training,
interviewing, and other Hotel services.
-Treat Hotel associates with dignity and respect at all times -
including in regards to scheduling, diversity, appreciation, and
recognition.
-Other duties as requested by manager.
