Your Role and Responsibilities

This role performs the Performance Reporting and Capacity Planning functions for a z/TPF host system and related peripherals. Functional knowledge of the z/TPF operating system is required and understanding of the credit card authorization business is preferred. Strong knowledge of SAS, Excel, Tivoli monitoring agents, Tivoli data warehouse, or other reporting/analysis tools is required.

This position works with technical teammates, the Kyndryl account team, customer leaders/executives, and customer technicians to provide contracted daily/monthly performance/utilization reports, monthly capacity forecasts, and performs periodic validation of the various forecasts for CPU, DASD, tape, and external encryption devices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

* Exhibit and exercise detail understanding of the z/TPF Data Collection/Reduction tools, the report outputs, and their relevance to the z/TPF system performance and capacity metrics.
* Exhibit and exercise detail understanding of the z/TPF Continuous Data Collection tool, it's data elements, and their relevance to z/TPF system performance and capacity metrics.
* Utilize SAS and/or other data analysis and reporting tools.
* Exhibit and exercise detail understanding of MS Excel, it's formulas, and graphing/charting capabilities to effectively communicate capacity/performance statistics to technicians and executives.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

* 10+ years experience performing z/TPF performance reporting and capacity planning including CPU, memory, I/O (DASD & tape), pool and TPF/DF database statistics, and metrics relating to MQ and network interfaces.
