Boulder Rec Center and more The Volunteer Coordinator will oversee
Via Mobility Services' volunteer driver program that supports
transportation services for older adults and individuals with
disabilities in Boulder County and the Denver Metro area.
Responsibilities for this role include supervising the volunteer
drivers, covering driving routes when needed, and completing other
administrative duties as required. The Volunteer Coordinator will
also help develop and implement an outreach plan, volunteer
recruiting strategies and program marketing activities. This is a
full-time opportunity based out of our Boulder office, working
Monday-Friday. Flexibility in scheduling is needed as hours will
vary as needed. This is an hourly position and the starting pay
$24.04/hour.Qualifications for the Volunteer Coordinator: Must be
at least 21 years of age High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 to 3 years' community outreach experience Recruiting
experience, strongly prefer with volunteers Possess a Driver's
License that has been continually valid for at least the past two
(2) years Must pass DOT physical, job skills test, background
check, pre-employment drug test, random drug testing, and ongoing
Motor Vehicle Records checks Excellent communication skills, both
written and verbal Ability to independently and creatively out in
the field with limited supervision Ability to proficiently use
standard computer programs and specialized software systems
required for project. Proficient in the use of MS Office products.
Strongly prefer experience with transit software - RouteMatch is a
plus Possess excellent customer service skills Keywords: volunteer
