Personify, a nationally recognized and awarded recruiting firm, is hiring a Buyer for our client, a leader in quality control and compliance solutions, based in Lakewood, CO. Essential Duties Core duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: - The procurement of raw materials to support product lines from direct suppliers who have been selected through the quality system process. - Manages costs to best applied standards and negotiates best cost solution while maintaining the best possible quality. - Selects the best supplier who will provide the service or material required in support of all production and maintenance operations. Manages suppliers through the Gyro - Supplier Management process in support of ISO and FDA rules and regulations. - Provides feedback on the performance of a supplier by monitoring on-time delivery, pricing, and quality expectations. - Provides project management for tasks that require New Product introduction activities, and new system data base tools. - Ensures that Excel spreadsheets, drawings, Gerber files, and any other necessary information are provided to the supplier when asking them to provide a competitive quotation. - Be available to answer any questions, or provide technical support when needed by a supplier. Education and/or Experience: - Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPM from accredited organization. APICS training. Compensation: Salary, incentive bonuses, and equity will be offered commensurate with the successful candidate's experience and qualifications. Range: $64,000-79,000
