Check out the details for the Head of Data & Analytics role.The Role:Sunday is looking for an experienced Head of Data and Analytics to lead our Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will drive the vision, strategy, and creation and implementation of our roadmap that will allow Sunday to mature its ability to unlock insights, scale the data function efficiently, and create a best-in-class data organization. Implementing data governance best practices, democratizing data, and partnering widely to identify and solve tough problems will be critical to success. You'll do everything from defining problems with stakeholders, developing viable solutions, driving clarity and consensus by owning documentation and requirements, understanding timing and resources and navigating tradeoffs, to working with teams across the business to bring data products to a successful launch and beyond. -This is an opportunity to come in at the ground level of a fast-paced startup, directly impact the company's trajectory, and be a key contributor to a team that's changing an industry for the better.You are a good fit for this role if you have experience building data-driven products, have a firm grasp on current analytics technology stacks, and have a desire to deliver value for stakeholders across the company. Exposure to or experience in e-commerce or subscription-based services is a strong plus. -You'll Make an Impact By:

Developing a cohesive vision and prioritized roadmap to create best-in class analytics and reporting capabilitiesDesigning and creating a common data architecture that the organization can use to consistently and accurately make data driven decisionWorking with leaders across the company to define and standardizE OKRs with the data team to allow efficient understanding of the fundamentals of the businessDefining and implementing a Data Governance framework to deliver a Single Source of Truth for the company with validated data/insightsDriving the end-to-end delivery of data products from exploration to prototyping, testing, deploying, and impact measurementCollaborating broadly to deliver new and innovative ways that data can be used by different departments throughout the organization to help Sunday achieve its missionCoordinating work and career development across the various data-related functions including Data Analytics and Data EngineeringPartnering closely with leaders across product, engineering, marketing, finance, and operations, as well as external partners and customers to deliver business valueCommunicating clearly and consistently about objectives, expectations, timelines, and deliverables -About You:
Data Experience: You have 5+ years of leadership experience with data analysis, data science and/or software engineering delivering highly successful and robust solutions. You passionately believe in the value that data-driven decisions can bring to the business. You apply best practices, but are always on the lookout for new approaches to try; you know when to build a quick and dirty experiment and when to build at scale. You have experience in ecommerce and marketing technologies.Data chops: Strong ability to tell a story through data, think critically, and question assumptions. Experience with statistical reasoning, data designing and experimentation. -Business Acumen: Can translate data capabilities into business outcomes that align to business objectives and support real-time decision makingLeadership Experience: You have experience aligning teams and stakeholders to a strategy. You define and take responsibility for outcomes. You communicate and influence at all levels within the organizationTechnical chops: Comfort with data warehouses (Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift), ETL tools (Fivetran, Stitch), Data Modeling (DBT), Visualization & Analytics (Looker, Tableau, Mode), Monitoring & Alerting (Monte Carlo, Metaplane, etc.) You are well-versed at discussing trade-offs to ensure delivery and impact. You understand different data technologies and are comfortable with how they work together to solve big problems. -Strategic: You can craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy, and quarterly roadmap that the team and stakeholders can rally behindPerks:
