You will collaborate with cross-discipline team members in test, systems, and infrastructure to accomplish project goals. You will collaborate with team members to solve critical problems to meet our user needs and help improve and save lives of patients. You will research new technologies to learn how to apply them to solve problems at Medtronic.Position Responsibilities: Build software to implement new features or make changes to existing features Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers Collaborate with team members on feature grooming, peer reviews, and testing Write technical documentation to share knowledge about the software we build Write clean, well-documented, high-quality code Implement unit tests for execution in CI Investigate and resolve issues in the existing code Attend and contribute to standup, planning, and retrospective meetings Be a team player with a willingness to learn and challenge yourself Must be willing to learn and work with new technologies appropriate to the problem being solvedMust Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a technically related field and 4 years of relevant experience or Advanced degree and 2 years of relevant experience requiredNice to Have Experience with developing iOS Native and/or Android Native applications Experience with developing APIs and applications that utilize them Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Dart, Swift, Kotlin or Java Effective communication both verbally and in written form Experience with process of building and releasing applications to Google Play and/or Apple Store Experience with developing applications using Cross-Platform Application Frameworks (Such as Ionic, Xamarin, Maui, Flutter, and React Native) Working knowledge of developing software for medical devices/products Experience with software development in an Agile environment Unit testing experience Experience with cybersecurity and secure coding practices Building IEC 62304 compliant softwareAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
