This RoleWe're seeking a Head of Strategy to help us achieve our mission of being a trusted and responsible hardware provider. Your aim will be developing our corporate strategy to ensure Fathom Radiant delivers towards this goal, analyzing and assessing our potential impacts and associated benefits / risks. You'll develop a deep understanding of our technology and its use cases for AI developers and relevant industry stakeholders. You'll engage with all the team leads, from hardware engineering to business development, and ensure that all our teams follow the corporate strategy that aligns with and works towards our mission.Areas of contribution:

• Research possible paths for Fathom Radiant's strategy and provide advice to our leadership on which strategies to pursue / not pursue
• Maintain and update our IP and secrecy policy
• Engage with external experts to get feedbackRequirements (necessary skills for this role):
  • You care a lot about making sure that the development of advanced AI is beneficial for humanity
  • Demonstrated experience in one of the following areas: technical ML / AI research, AI safety & alignment, AI governance / policy, AI hardware
  • Demonstrated experience in strategy or policy development in corporate / organizational level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to distill complex ideas and present arguments in a clear and compelling way
  • Attentiveness to detail - e.g. willing to keep a detailed and up-to-date CRM of customers and partnersNice-to-haves (we will prioritize candidates that also have these skills)
    • Experience with corporate governance and risk management, especially in the AI field
    • Direct experience working in AI policy research and/or US government
    • Technical expertise in AI hardware and/or deep learningIndicative salary range for this role: $120,000 to $185,000For all roles, we target market salaries, with an additional benefits package. Our comprehensive benefits include startup equity, medical expenses coverage (including extra coverage for employees with a family).
