Job Description:
RN Internal Traveler - Float Pool Nights. 36 hours/week. Pay
rates set hourly at#$75 - 85 / Hr.# Rates are market dependent and
will be determined at the time of written offer. Contracts are 26
weeks. External applications accepted. New hires cannot be ex-BCH
employee within 6 months. Every other Weekend Required. Benefits

the community. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education or Formal Training BSN
Degree preferred. Special Qualifications (Licensure, Registration,
etc.) Colorado RN License in good standing. BLS Certification. ACLS
Certification. ACLS Certification required when floating to units
where ACLS is required Knowledge, Skill and Ability Demonstrates
physical and mental abilities to apply nursing and management
theories, procedures and standards. Leadership, delegation and
critical thinking skills to manager patient needs within the scope
of unit expectations and needs. Knowledge of safety principles and
infection prevention. Ability to assist in identifying ways to
promote quality care. Demonstrates conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to
communicate clearly and effectively at all levels and in
cross-functional environments. Knowledge of standards, policies and
procedures of Boulder Community Hospital. Computer charting skills
desirable. Experience 3 years of inpatient nursing experience
preferred. Critical care or ICU experience desirable. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Promotes a patient safety culture and
participates with other departments in achieving core measures,
evidence and best practice. Promotes service excellence. Supports
and ensures compliance with hospital, division, and departmental
policies. Familiar with organization, department and job specific
environment of care policies, including, life safety, utilities
management, hazardous material communication, emergency
preparedness, infection prevention and medical equipment failure.
Meets the skills of the Registered Nurse job description.
Implements interventions based on the Plan of Care, priority of
patient needs and desired outcome, guidelines/standards of care,
and agency policies and procedures. Evaluates practice in relation
to professional standards, statues, regulations, hospital and
departmental policies, and standards of care. Practices proper
HIPAA compliance and performs other duties as assigned. About
