The Packaging Specialist I is an entry level position in our quality-driven, craft concentrate Packaging facility. This person will be involved in many aspects of the packaging of products as they move through the final stages in our lab. This person will be required to focus on quality product, time management and efficiency. The ability to remain focused on packaging goals and communicate with team members and supervisor(s) is critical. PACKAGING TASKS: Adhere to all safety guidelines of packaging and handling of materials in the labPrepare containers for productMeasure or weigh products in all forms into gram incrementsMaintain consistent quality control standardsWeigh and package all items into appropriate containersUse all equipment to complete tasks according to standard operating proceduresAffix all required labels according to requirements for each productAssist with labeling of outgoing ordersMaintaining clean work spaceMaintain condition of all lab equipment -----" clean, orderly and in good condition ADMINISTRATIVE AND ANCILLARY TASKS: Track and recording daily packaging dataAssist in the delivery process as requestedAdditional duties as assignedWORK ENVIRONMENT:Standard 40-hour workweek appliesWorking hours will be spent in the labModerate physical activity such as walking and lifting is required on a daily basisSafety gear and PPEs required as outlined in SOPs for each taskAble to lift at least 20 pounds, stand for long periods of time, bend, push, pull and reach EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & OTHER REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED is requiredMust be over 21 years of ageMust have and maintain MED BadgeMust have reliable form of transportation Salary $17 - $18.5 USD per hour Required Skills Possesses physical dexterity necessary to assemble small and delicate productsWork efficiently, manages time effectivelyPay close attention to detailAble to identify problems or malfunctions with equipmentExhibits ability to work cautiously but efficientlyFamiliarity with all lab safety procedures and guidelines (PPE, OSHA, Fire and HazMat)Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time Desired Skills Able to work in a fast-paced work environment under deadlinesContinually exhibit honesty and integrityPunctual and reliableSelf-MotivatedCommunicate effectively and efficientlyHold self and others accountableDriven to excel and seek constant improvement About Green Dot Labs Founded in 2014 by local Boulder husband and wife team, Alana and Dave Malone, Green Dot Labs is Colorado--------s premier cannabis cultivation and extraction brand, the first and longest-running regulated business anywhere to focus exclusively on cannabis extracts.
