Equivalent certifications include: EMT, MA, Military Medic or completion of 1st year of nursing core classes (not prerequisites for nursing school).BLS certification required by the end of conditional period.Hospital or other health care experience preferred.ResponsibilitiesConsistent and on time attendance is an essential function of the position.Performs selected nursing and administrative duties.Prepares patients, ages adult to geriatric, for examination and treatment.Prepares patient rooms in orderly manner with necessary instruments and supplies.Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments.Follows CLIA, OSHA, and Joint Commission regulations.Maintains patient files, records and other information.Attends required meetings and participates in committees as required.Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional licensure.Maintains strict patient confidentiality.Upholds guidelines set forth in department/clinic/organization.Maintains a neat and professional appearance.Demonstrates commitment and dependability.Meets standards of professional and ethical conduct.About Boulder Community Health and Boulder, ColoradoBoulder Community Healths vision is partnering to create and care for the healthiest community in the nation.
