Sonographer Ultrasound (Levels I, II, III, IV)Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 8030340.00 - $64.81 an hour, Half Time, Days. 20 hours/weekPay is based on level and certifications.$5000 Sign On Bonus **rehires not eligible$2.50/hr weekendsBoulder Community health is seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform high quality diagnostic Ultrasound exams in the areas of Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Pediatric, and small parts imaging. You will assist the Radiologists with procedures and ensure optimal patient care. As a proficient communicator, you will serve as a problem-solving leader and organizer, by fostering effective collaboration with staff. Must pass Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular to become a Sonographer Level IISonographer Level II, III and IV are based on additional certifications in High Risk OB(HROB); Musculo-Skeletal; and/or Fetal Echocardiography.ResponsibilitiesProvide quality patient carePerforms US exams, using good judgement in scanning, understanding all anatomical measurements, and documenting anatomy/pathologyAssists the Radiologists and other physicians with interpretation of exams.Assists the Radiologists and physicians with US guided invasive procedures.work closely with radiologists and other physicians.Transports patients to and from department or other areas within the hospital.Monitors and cleans US equipment and reports equipment malfunction to biomed and the supervisor.Works toward the goal of quality assurance.Works 'on-call' after hours.About Boulder Community Health and Boulder, ColoradoBoulder Community Healths vision is partnering to create and care for the healthiest community in the nation.
