Job Description:
A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor to support the
emotional and mental well-being of K-12 students.
Key Responsibilities
Provide crisis intervention services to K-12 students experiencing
emotional distress or emergencies
Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans in collaboration
with students and families
Deliver individual and group counseling sessions focused on coping
skills and emotional regulation
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably in
crisis intervention or school counseling
Strong understanding of Texas Education Code related to counselor
responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations
Proficiency in virtual communication platforms and technology
A minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in a
related field is preferred
