Job Description:

If you are a Production Management professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity in our Boulder, CO location. Under minimal direction you will establish and maintain production capabilities and to direct production of the desired -quality and quantity of products to meet service level goals.
As a Production Manager, -You Will: -

  • Drive and/or support safety, quality and productivity improvement Supervises and coordinates the manufacturing -of product in a high-mix environment to meet production schedule and on-time delivery. -Manufacturing includes welding, machining, assembly, calibration and shipping.
  • Sets clear objectives and monitor measures tracking safety, quality and productivity.
  • Actively participates in the hiring and selection process to fill open full-time and temporary positions.
  • Recommends and leads development of updates or new training programs as necessary. Maintains and
  • supports ongoing training programs. Provides tasks and assignments that challenge and stretch employees' -abilities. Conducts regular discussions with employees on personal development. Motivates employees, -teams, and project members. Comfortable with empowering others.
  • Conducts timely, effective performance reviews in accordance with company guidelines. Regularly -meets with assigned employees one-on-one to verbally review performance. Provides current, direct, -complete and action-able feedback that is both constructive and positive.
  • Communicates regularly to employees on matters such as business conditions, goals, trends, accomplishments, -and information on policies. Fosters open dialogue with all work units and employees.
  • Has knowledge of, and consistently and fairly administers and supports company policies, procedures -and guidelines.

    Who You Are: - You establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results. You form diverse teams to create a mix of styles, perspectives, and experience. -You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. -You carefully consider all relevant factors and use appropriate decision-making criteria and principles.
    Required Education Experience & Skills: -

    • Bachelor's degree required. For internal candidates commensurate company experience may be taken in lieu of degree.
    • 5+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience implementing lean manufacturing programs
    • Experience ERP experience is preferred. -
    • Able to travel up to 10% to meet business needs
    • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

      Preferred Education Experience & Skills:

      • APICS certification desired
      • Oracle business system experience preferred

        Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during the annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $69,741 -- $90,000 -annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. -
