Manages technical projects and work output of project teams. Works across business functions to optimize the utilization of applications and data for business reporting. Maintains policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company applications and data. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and tunes application and database functions.
  • Assists with design, analysis and implementation of new application and database functions for optimal performance across the application portfolio.
  • Resolves application and database performance capacity issues.
  • Responds to requests for application, data and reporting enhancements to support the needs of the organization.
  • Utilizes correct "high availability" technologies to maintain the greatest possible uptime including data integration and business intelligence strategies.
  • Creates, maintains and troubleshoots issues with business applications and reporting solutions including ERP/CRM/MFR/HCM and/or customer facing applications.
  • Leads project work utilizing Agile principles.
  • Manages, maintains and follows established policies and procedures for incident/change management including SOX compliance.
  • Identifies and evaluates industry trends as an applications expert to serve as a source of information and advice for upper management.
  • Designs, creates and maintains application integration activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
    • At least five years supporting multiple applications across business functions with an emphasis on revenue facing applications utilizing a SaaS model.
    • S. Citizenship required.
    • Must live in the US 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad included).
    • Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.
    • In-depth working knowledge of application data, writing complex queries and/or data integrations, ETL, data lakes, data analytics, business intelligence toolsets.
    • In-depth knowledge of reporting and analytics systems.
    • Broad knowledge of business processes and operational efficiencies gained thru the utilization of modern technology applications, preferably with cloud SaaS experience.
    • Working knowledge of all versions of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI or equivalent business applications.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work professionally with diverse internal and external contacts at all levels.
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve application, business intelligence and database issues.
    • Application/Database Administrator or BI certifications preferred.
    • Knowledge of and ability to implement change management practices.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Basic knowledge of project management techniques.
    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to information stored in operational databases.
    • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department. Working Conditions: Encountered on a regular basis as part of the work this job performs.
      • Requires some work in an environmentally controlled room with cold temperature and loud noise.
      • Requires on-call support after standard business hours 24 x 7 on a rotating basis.
      • Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel, ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch, and reach with hands and arms to install and maintain computer-networking equipment.
      • Close vision at 20 inches or less, ability to identify and distinguish colors to install and maintain computer-networking equipment.
      • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to install and maintain computer-networking equipment. Benefits
