Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Engineer Planning
Analyst/Principal Engineer Planning Analyst to support our team in
Boulder, CO.Position Summary/Responsibilities:- Supports assigned
organizations to fulfill the procurement needs and requirements of
product development projects and activities.- Directly supports
buyer order placement and follows up on orders status to expedite
and ensure timely delivery to meet project schedules.- Assists in
resolving purchasing and procurement related issues between Program
Team and Vendors.- Identifies, resolves, and initiates RMA, Credit
Memo, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and invoice issues with Vendor.-
Complies with corporate purchasing policies, procedures, and
internal controls to ensure most optimum delivery and quality of
materials, supplies, and equipment while enhancing their efficiency
while performing work within the company and regulatory guidelines-
Performs purchasing activities in compliance with procurement
standards, controls, and ethical business practices.- Utilizes the
resources of the SAP system to monitor purchase requisitions and
purchase orders, backlog management, invoicing, material
management, and pricing.- Support Vendor analysis and industry
analysis reports.- Understand market situation in relation to
assigned project and acquire global SCM visibility.- Prepare
various reports as needed, including Key Performance Indexes, with
existing systems and data, depending on situations given.This
requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the
qualifications listed below.This requisition may be filled as
either an Engineer Planning Analyst or a Principal Engineer
Planning Analyst.Basic Qualifications for an Engineer Planning
Analyst:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 4+
years of equivalent experience- 3+ years of experience in Supply
Chain, Planning, or Inventory Management or equivalent experience
such as Consulting, Finance, or Operations- Demonstrated ability to
dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify risks-
Strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical,
common sense approach to getting things done- Ability to handle
high speed and high-pressure environment- Active Secret-level
Security Clearance- Experience with SAP or similar business/ERP
systems.- Must have Microsoft Office Suite of PC software
applications experience with Excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint
preparation skills.- Ability to work independently and in a team
environment.- Can develop and maintain excellent working
relationships with all assigned levels with the vendor/customer and
within and outside the company.Basic Qualifications for a Principal
Engineer Planning Analyst:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited
university or 4+ years of equivalent experience- 6+ years of
experience in Supply Chain, Planning, or Inventory Management or
equivalent experience such as Consulting, Finance, or Operations-
Demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause
and identify risks- Strong written and oral communication skills,
and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done-
Ability to handle high speed and high-pressure environment- Active
Secret-level Security Clearance- Experience with SAP or similar
business/ERP systems.- Must have Microsoft Office Suite of PC
software applications experience with Excel spreadsheet and
PowerPoint preparation skills.- Ability to work independently and
in a team environment.- Can develop and maintain excellent working

analytical and process oriented.- Have ability to plan, organize,
and prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments.-
Performs work under time schedules and stress that are normally
periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines,
intellectual challenge, and project management deadlines.- Ability
to work independently with multi-disciplined teams within the
programSalary Range: $77,100 USD - $115,700 USDSalary Range 2:
$95,000 USD - $142,400 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
