As a Sales Consultant, you can expect to earn a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $110,000/year. The typical schedule is Monday through Saturday with a day off during the week and Sunday. All that you need is: 2 years or more of sales experience High school diploma or equivalent A valid driver's license Car industry knowledge is helpful but not required. Our automotive sales consultants come from a variety of backgrounds and industries. You don't have to have automotive sales experience to be successful but you should have experience providing exceptional customer service and previous sales experience is a plus. Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience Sales, including inside sales, outside sales, or retail sales is a plus Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career Outgoing personality with the ability to develop relationships easily ( "people person") Basic computer, email and internet proficiency Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through Saturdays and some evening hours Valid U.S. Driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, and DMV screen 1 year's worth of new or used car sales experience strongly preferred WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS OUR SALES CONSULTANT? Sales Consultants spend time with customers to determine their needs and discuss pre-owned vehicle and finance options Sales Consultants commit to becoming automotive sales experts and gain a wide knowledge of multiple vehicle makes, models and brands.
