Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A School-Based Special Education Teacher position is
available for a full-time contract role at an elementary school in
the Arvada, CO area. This opportunity involves working with 4th and
5th-grade students with mild to moderate disabilities, supporting
their educational development within an inclusive school
environment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver specialized
instruction tailored to the needs of students with mild to moderate
disabilities - Develop and implement Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs) aligned with Colorado Department of Education
standards - Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and
families to ensure student progress and engagement - Monitor and
document student performance, adapting strategies as necessary to
meet learning goals - Participate in regular team meetings and
training sessions to stay current with best practices in special
education Qualifications and Experience: - Active Colorado
Department of Education (CO DOE) Special Education teaching
certification - Experience teaching elementary-aged students,
preferably grades 4 and 5 - Background working with students with
mild to moderate disabilities - Strong classroom management and
communication skills - Ability to work full-time onsite with
immediate availability preferred Location and Schedule: - Based at
an elementary school located in Arvada, CO - Full-time assignment
totaling 37.5 hours per week - Contract duration roughly from
mid-February through late May Additional Information:This role
requires fingerprinting coordination facilitated by the district
and prescreen interviews to assess candidate suitability. The
position involves supporting a single school caseload within the
Denver area, emphasizing direct classroom engagement and
