Cardio-Thoracic Surgery as a Circulator/Scrub License: Current RN
License Certifications: AHA BLS, CO or Compact RN License
Must-Have: - 3 years of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery experience - Level
1 or 2 trauma experience - Epic experience - No first-time
travelers accepted Description: The role requires working in a busy
operating room environment with approximately 41 ORs. The assigned
nurse will handle cases related to cardio-thoracic surgery, and
other specialties such as general, GU/GYN, neuro, ENT, and plastic.
There may be occasional floating to different ORs within the
facility during shifts. Weekend coverage will be required based on
the needs of the unit. On-call duties may be included,
approximately 6 shifts per 8-week schedule period. The nurse will
be expected to float within the scope to meet facility needs,
including other like units. All candidates must have significant
experience in trauma surgery and familiarity with advanced OR
procedures and technologies. RTO requests are limited, with
specific blackout dates outlined for scheduling. This position
emphasizes a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a
