This role is crucial in delivering high-quality nighttime acute care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent patient care, advocate for patient needs, and maintain safety at all times. Working with UCHealth, you will be part of a system dedicated to improving lives and providing community-driven, innovative care. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse, acute care setting during night shifts. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Record patient’s medical information and vital signs. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Support patient safety and satisfaction by collaborating with healthcare team members and using organizational best practices. Proficiency in using medical software for patient care management. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team. Ability to perform multiple tasks under pressure without compromising care quality. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Expertise in clinical skills specific to acute care nursing. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or ability to obtain. BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification preferred.
