Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Birth Center. The ideal candidate will be passionate about
providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a
state-of-the-art facility. As a vital part of our team, you will
work closely with healthcare professionals to support women during
the labor and childbirth process, ensuring safety and the highest
standards of care. Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing during
labor and postpartum periods. Administer medications as ordered and
monitor reactions. Educate and support mothers and families through
the birth process. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members,
ensuring effective communication. Maintain accurate patient records
and adhere to safety protocols. Assist in emergency situations
related to childbirth. Guide and supervise junior nursing staff and
student nurses. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Competency in fetal monitoring technology and birthing procedures.
Expertise in postpartum care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of Colorado. BLS certified - American Heart
Association. Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
preferred.
